Lesson assignment:
- Watch the 2nd and 3rd videos in the Note Reading link
- From the EXERCISES section below, practice the pdf called Saxophone Sneak Downs
- Practice the scale, arpeggio, and Happy Birthday in the keys of F and D.
If you have time and wish to do more, you can check out what's in the TUNES section: playing Saints in F along with Louis Armstrong, or playing Misty Mountains or The Rakes of Mallow.

TUNES-
In the tunes below, there will be some notes and rhythms that you don't yet know - that's totally OK, just give them a try.
The rhythms you can figure out by listening to the recordings.
The notes you may be able to figure out on your own by looking at the fingering chart on p. 46 in your band book.
